Happy Saturday! I’ve posted quite a few smokey eye looks recently, so I wanted to mix things up a bit with more of a golden shimmer shadow makeup. For this look I took inspiration from this photo of Hilary Duff – it incorporates a light gold shadow on the lid and lower lash lines, warm cheeks and natural lips. I think that this makeup is also great if you want to go for a Blake Lively type of look. Here’s what I did – I hope you enjoy!
Face: Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation – applied with fingertips; Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – applied underneath my eyes; Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – applied to my t-zone.
Eyes: Mac All That Glitters - I washed this over my lids with a Mac 217 brush, and then applied it to my lower lash line with a smudge brush; Mac Charcoal Brown – I applied a small amount of this to my crease to add depth; e.l.f. Golden Bronzer - I applied the shade in the lower left corner to the inner corners of my eyes as well as applied it to my lower lash line; Maybelline Gel Liner – I applied a thin line to my upper lash line to add definition; Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner – I applied this black liner to my waterline; Maybelline The Falsies – I applied several coats of this mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Cheeks: Nyx Blush in Pinched – I applied this peachy-pink blush to the apples of my cheeks; e.l.f. Golden Bronzer - I applied a mixture of all four shades to my cheekbones.
Lips: Mac Lipstick in Jubilee; Mac Plushglass in Posh It Up.
